In this article, we propose the use of Olympic didactic situations (SDO), such as those used in National Science Olympiad (ONC), Brazilian (OBC), among others, an alternative for teaching kinematics, component Physics, Basic Education. Reflecting on need to work with kinematics a more attractive and challenging way, which arouses interest students. Questions from Olympics tests were analyzed about selected. They resolved, trying meet most way be carried out We observed that there is scarcity works report SDO Physics teaching. However, believe it possible associate problems especially kinematics. Thus, pedagogical approach make learning students, given these competitions are gaining strength educational field, offering great opportunities students who stand out.
